Here's some information on what to expect over the summer months...

For those who are holding unconditional offers of admission, the table below provides some information on what you can expect to happen next in the lead up to commencing study in the College of Arts & Humanities in October.

You must have accepted your unconditional offer of admission to kick start the process outlined below.

Look out for Access your Student Account email from University 3 August
Complete registration on MyCampus using information in that email ASAP after 3 August
Familiarise yourself with University, Graduate School, School and Subject Area via our web pages August/September
Look out for information/induction emails from your School August/September
Look out for Welcome and Skills Development Workshops emails from Graduate School  Mid-August/September
Attend 'Ask Us Anything' online event, chat with our staff and a current PhD student 29 August
Get in touch with supervisor(s) to arrange initial meeting (they may be in touch with you first) During September
Teaching starts (for those on an MRes programme) 18 September
College/UKRI funded students receive first instalment of stipend (assuming you have remembered to input your UK bank details to MyCampus when completing registration!)  29 September
Start of PGR academic year (you should now be fully registered on MyCampus and using your University email address for all study-related correspondence) 2 October
First Supervisory meeting: discuss your training needs with your supervisors and enrol on mandatory and other skills development workshops via MyCampus Early to mid-October
Attend Welcome and Induction events
Including School/Subject induction activity
Week beginning 2 October
Attend one of the Setting Off workshops (doctoral students only) TBC
