Commonly used radionuclides within the University

Information sheets are available to members of staff for the most commonly used radionuclides they may encounter within their laboratory or research environment.

The information given includes physical characteristics, half-life and specific activity, shielding information and maximum recommended activities in Controlled and Supervised areas.

The information sheets can be used as reference but do not supersede current Departmental Local Rules.

Follow the link - Information for Staff - to access the data sheets.

Due to copyright considerations, the hazard information sheets must not be copied or distributed off campus.
