Research & Innovation Services (R&I) is part of University Services and comprises two Directorates: Research Services and Innovation, Engagement & Economic Development.
Together we work in partnership with the Vice Principals for Research & Knowledge Exchange and Economic Development & Innovation, with colleagues in other service areas, and with the research leadership teams, researchers and professional staff in each of Glasgow’s four academic Colleges well as with external stakeholders and partners.
R&I staff contribute to a supportive research environment, including in the new Advanced Research Centre (ARC) which provides collaborative facilities for the entire University research community.
Working in collaboration with colleagues we ensure the University's policy framework enables and supports our research objectives, whilst complying with the requirements of our funders.
